Ok, you’ve been working on your “success mindset”, you learned quite a bit about Internet marketing… but as long as you don’t take action, you won’t succeed with your online business.

Define your goals and make plans
Before jumping to action, you should be clear about what you want. You have to set a direction that feels right for you. Don’t just go ahead writing an eBook on marketing, because you know some people who made lots of money with it.
Taking action also involves careful planning. Whatever you do has to make sense -- your business idea has to be profitable and ideally you should be passionate about it.
Before starting on any specific tasks, plan the major steps of your business -- set out the direction.

… just to give you the big picture. Your plan, of course, has to be more complete and detailed.
There is no need to plan each tiny detail ahead -- that’s not possible anyway. Just start your creative engine. Brainstorm some ideas, develop and change them until you are comfortable with them.
Set short-term and long-term goals. Where do you see yourself in 6 months, in 2 years…?
Plan for the following day. Take 5 – 10 minutes every evening and write down the necessary actions for the following day.
Give yourself feedback on your approach and progress. What worked well, what did not work out so well? Where do you have to improve? What skills do you have to acquire? … Act accordingly!
Watch out for opportunities. Observe and be open-minded -- a seemingly insignificant event could lead you to a magnificent business idea. Whenever you have a great idea, make a note immediately. That way you keep on developing your creativity and you will find more and more profitable ideas.
How do you get from A to B?
Ok, you know where you are currently standing and you also know where you want to go (what you want to achieve). The question is -- how do you get from “A to B”?
There are many possible routes. Some of them will never get you to your destination, others will be very long and arduous and only one or a few will be perfect -- the most direct way to success.
Check out what the pros in your field are doing and let yourself inspire by their actions. There is no need to reinvent the wheel -- do what others have already done successfully before you.
You can find tons of excellent resources -- even for free. Study the websites of successful marketers, download free e-Books, subscribe to some good e-zines... Sure, you still have to work, but it has never been easier to succeed online. Nowadays, really everyone can start a small Internet business.
Others already walked the multitude of paths that don’t lead to success and they also discovered the ones that do. Great for you! Find a successful marketer and do what he or she is doing.
But careful, that doesn’t mean you should copy his website or products. Be inspired and learn from him. Look, how he writes sales copy and how he communicates with his audience. What is so special about his newsletter? How does he optimize his web pages for the search engines? …

only lose your motivation. They didn’t reach their status within a few
short months, it took them several years to get there -- so be patient
and just keep on keeping on.
