The amount of success you achieve in life primarily depends on your inner beliefs and convictions -- your success mindset.



For example, if one of your beliefs is that achieving success is extremely difficult, you will most probably face many difficulties on your way to success -- you attract and experience the truth you carry within yourself.

On the other hand, if you are convinced to attain success easily, then this will be your experience. It doesn’t mean, that there won’t be any obstacles, difficulties or challenges to overcome -- there surely will be -- but your way to success will be much smoother. Your passion and excitement will turn hard work into child’s play.

This has nothing to do with positive thinking. Positive thinking is a bit like putting watercolor on an old rusty car. It helps for a while, but shortly after, things are back to normal.

What I am talking about is much more profound. It works from the inside out. The technique I’ll explain further down allows you to reprogram your success mindset in order to create whatever you want in life.

You are the creator of your life and you are completely responsible for whatever happens in your life. All your experiences in the world are merely a reflection of your inner state of being -- your believes and convictions.

You attract, whatever you focus on. Focus means to align your thoughts, feelings and actions with whatever it is that you desire. If you want to be a great writer, but you keep on telling yourself that you can’t write, then your thoughts are not in aligned.

If you want to be a great pianist, but you play only one hour a week, then your actions are not aligned… Whatever you think, feel and do, ask yourself if it helps you to reach your goal. If that’s not the case, change your direction.

Align your thoughts, feelings and actions with your biggest goal in life (your own definition of success) -- that’s what it means to develop a success mindset.


How to create a Success Mindset

First of all, you have to get crystal clear about what it is that you want.

What does success mean to you? -- An income of $10000 per month? Selling 50000 copies of your eBook? Helping thousands of people to realize their dreams? Finding the right partner for life?...

Contemplate on your life goal. Take your time, it’s really important. Write down whatever comes to your mind -- even if it might sound silly at first -- keep on jotting down your thoughts and ideas.

Once you are finished, start refining and organizing your notes. Modify and adapt your list until you are really happy with it. Visualize the different points on your list -- do they make you feel comfortable? If not, get rid of them or modify them.

Ok, stop for today. Come back to your list tomorrow with a fresh mind and do a final check. If necessary, modify some more points.

This list represents the blueprint of the life you will create and from now own, you will use it every day to develop your success mindset.


Powerful Visualization 

Now you will create a mental movie, using the points on your list. The key to success is to make this movie as real as possible -- you have to see, hear, feel and even smell what you want to achieve.

For example, if one of the points on your list is: “Making $10000 a month doing what I love to do”, then just imagine, how your life would be if this was already true. How would you feel? What would be your thoughts and actions? Integrate these feelings and emotions in of your daily visualization exercise -- even better, make them part of your daily life.

Visualize looking at your monthly bank statement and feeling the excitement… Use your imagination to come up with appropriate scenes for your visualization exercises.

Develop a short and emotionally charged mental movie for each point on your list. Certain scenes might even comprehend more than one point on your list.

Being able to properly visualize a crystal clear and emotionally charged mental movie takes some time and effort, so just don’t give up after a few days or a week. Be patient and keep on growing your success mindset.

Don’t try to get it perfect right from the start -- that’s impossible. Find a quiet spot and make sure that you won’t be disturbed for the next 15 – 20 minutes. Take the first point on your list, close your eyes and start imagining an appropriate scene.

Again, make each scene as emotionally charged as possible. That’s not easy at the beginning and it will take you a while to develop this ability. Keep on practicing every day -- that's the key to success.

Being able to clearly visualize, enables you to create the life of you dreams.

At the beginning, I suggest you practice once a day for about 15 - 20 minutes. Stay concentrated while practicing. Your mental images will become clearer from day to day and the practicing will get easier with every day.

After about one month, start practicing twice a day for ~ 10 minutes. Now you are already much more proficient and your visualization takes less time.

Also, make it a habit to visualize certain scenes of your mental movie several times during the day -- every now and then, pick a scene and visualize it for 30 seconds or a minute.
 

Take a few seconds to visualize -- as often as possible

     This gives you a short break from what you are currently doing.

     It is much easier to remain highly concentrated for a short period of
        time -- and concentration is one of the keys to success.

     You keep in touch with your goals throughout the day -- your
        success mindset keeps on expanding.

     It helps you to stay motivated working towards your goals.


Integrate the "success energy" you will experience during your visualization exercises into your daily life.

When you visualize being successful, you feel the corresponding energy. And at this very moment you actually ARE successful -- success is your state of being at that instant. Now you know, what this energy feels like and with a little bit of practice you will be able to recreate this energy whenever you want.

Step into this energy as often as possible throughout the day. Every 30 minutes or so, concentrate on your "success energy" for a few seconds -- in other words, consciously BE success.

That way you are creating success from within. And whatever is within, will sooner or later manifest on the outside -- it will become part of your experiences in the physical world. Your inner state of being (success) will draw corresponding events into your life -- people who will guide you on your way to success, a great book, a fantastic seminar that helps you reaching your goal...


Consciously create the life of your dreams

Many people sabotage their success without even realizing it, by constantly getting caught up in negative thoughts and emotions.

Become aware of your thoughts and emotions and stop following those ones that are not beneficial for your success -- just drop them. Understand, that your thoughts are not real until you make them reality -- by intensely focusing on them for prolonged periods of time.

Think about the child who is afraid of the witch in the wardrobe. You don’t worry about getting hurt, because you know the witch is not real -- you refuse to pay any more attention to this thought. But for the child it is absolutely real. So real, that it might not be able to sleep the whole night.

Actually, we grown-ups behave exactly the same way. The only difference is that our witches are the worries to lose our job, to fail in our undertakings... And we are holding on to these destructive yet unreal thoughts, day-in and day-out, until they become reality.

Don’t continue following the thoughts that weaken your success mindset-- worries, fears, doubts… -- just let go of them, dismiss them. Again, thoughts are not real and you have the power to control them. Follow and develop only those that correspond with your ideal vision of life.

Several times during the day, ask yourself what you have been feeling and thinking for the last 30 minutes. Analyze which thoughts are beneficial for your success and which ones are not. Dismiss the “bad” ones and nurture the “good” ones.

You can control your thoughts only if you are aware of them and this simple technique will allow you to become conscious of your thoughts and emotions.

Indulging in a certain thought 10 or 100 times won’t have a big impact on your life. But if you entertain the same thought thousands of times over several months or even years it will become your reality.

You have the power to create whatever you focus on and you are completely free to choose what to focus on. Do you focus on failure or success? The universe doesn’t care, but you future depends on it.

 
Develop your success mindset. Become crystal clear about
what you want to achieve in life.

Put all your focus on these goals and dismiss all thoughts
and feelings that are standing in your way to success.

of your dreams.
