you researched and found a great site concept for your niche web site
you brainstormed a list of highly profitable keywords and
you defined the basic structure of your niche web site
Is your niche web site narrow enough?
Do a final check on your keyword list and make sure that your theme isn’t too wide. If necessary, delete some keywords that don’t fit, or keep them for future projects.
For instance, if your site concept is "Fender Electric Guitars", don’t create any pages on "Ibanez Guitars", although these keywords might be great for another niche web site you could start later on.
Why is it so important to keep it narrow?
It’s much easier to win your market when you focus on a specific,
tight niche.

probably don’t have that time.
Your competition will be small and chances are good for you to dominate

Stick with your site concept and don’t introduce additional themes. For instance, if you decided to create a site about electric guitars, don’t create any pages that talk about violins. Rather, consider building an additional "Violin" – niche web site later on.
If you dilute your site with different themes, your page rankings will suffer and you will receive less traffic.

Don’t introduce different subjects in your web pages. Again, this will hurt your page rankings with the search engines and decrease the traffic to your site.

Position yourself within your niche. Whatever subject you choose, most probably there are already quite a few sites that relate to your topic. Is that a problem? Not at all, just choose an angle no one else or only a few sites have chosen so far.
